About Newborn Home Care...

Newborn Home Care was founded by two nurses, Angela Perry and Lisa Bailey, in April 1998. Our "baby nurses" have worked with over 255 families included 58 families with twins and 15 families with triplets. Our firm is composed of certified nurses, licensed by the NC Nursing Board, with extensive pediatric experience and infant/child CPR certification. Our baby nurses assist with all aspects of infant care: basic care, bathing, breast or bottle feeding, answering questions, or just providing you with uninterrupted sleep. We also provide traveling nannies to assist with family vacations and other travel.

We are from the Raleigh area and have been practicing home health nursing with handicapped and healthy children for over 30 years. And, we have the experience of working in a variety of pediatricians' office. We are active in the community as volunteers with Asthma Camp at Camp Oak Hill, Special Olympics, teaching Sunday School and Bible School, and serving as officers for local school PTAs and Booster Clubs.

Our baby nurses and traveling nannies would love to help you with your newborn and will provide your child with the secure and loving care that any parent would expect. We have many references available on request. We also have gift certificates for friends, co-workers, grandparents and dads.

Meet our founders...

She has spent time working in hospital (pediatrics), pediatricians office, and private duty where she has helped with physically challenged patients as well as newborn babies. Teaching and helping new parents with their new babies has always been her passion. When not working with babies, Angela spends time with her family (husband and two grown sons) and her second passion, golf.

Lisa Bailey, LPNLisa Bailey, LPN — as the oldest of five children, she started changing diapers and making bottles at an early age. Lisa began her career as a pediatric nurse in 1973. From that start, Lisa's experience includes a major hospital, one of the largest day care centers in the area with responsibility for the care of 24 babies and a local family doctors office and with pediatric home care agencies focusing on special needs and handicapped babies. Lisa has specialized in the coaching and counciling of parents in the care and nurturing of their babies. After seeing numerous parents struggle with the basics, and how that affected the infants, she and Angela came up with the idea for Newborn Home Care.
